RELEX Group has completed the work on the project on development of the information system “Victims of Political Repression in the Voronezh Region” ordered by the State Social and Political History Archives”.
The goal of this project was to develop a Web application for managing the database of victims of political repression. The application includes such functions as creation of elements for the archive documents, information search by the key parameters of the stored data, document printing, and generating volumes of the Book of Memory In the future, the electronic documents obtained will be used to create the print version of “The Book of Memory”.
“The Book of Memory” comprises brief biographic information of political repression victims (executed, deported, sent to prison camps etc.). This data is necessary not only to historians and journalists, but also to millions of people in Russia and other countries where our compatriots live to restore the history of their families, relatives, friends etc.
