From September 24 to 26, RELEX Group will traditionally present its IT products and developments at one of the major information security events, the expo «Infosecurity Russia 2014». This unique event will take place at the Crocus Expo International Center (Pavilion № 1, Hall № 1), as usual.
«Infosecurity Russia 2014» is the only Russian expo devoted solely to information security issues. This year, a wide range of information security solutions, technologies and services will be presented at the expo: personal data storage and protection, processing of state secret data, cyber-crime prevention, biometric technologies, mobile security etc.
RELEX Group has been taking part in «Infosecurity Russia» for three consecutive years: such unique events are especially important for IT companies closely connected to the information security sphere. For a quarter of a century, the Russian DBMS Linter has been successfully used in various fields: from nuclear, oil-and-gas and defense industry to electronics and mobile device manufacturing.
Considering the expo specifics, special attention will be devoted to the company’s flagship product, secure DBMS Linter BASTION. At present, this is the only database server fully developed by Russian experts without borrowing foreign technologies and source code. The system is certified by the Russian FSTEC and Ministry of Defense and recommended for use in the Russian Ministry of Defense structures.
Today, with the increasing technological isolation of our country and waves of sanctions, an important role belongs to domestic system software independent of foreign developers and able to provide high-quality import substitution in critically important areas of national economy.
Russian IT companies have proved their ability to compete with the world’s leading software vendors. Obviously, the next step is to produce and market Russian software not containing any foreign components. However, the effort of a single company is not enough to make this step, this can be done only in cooperation with others.
