RELEX Group Wins the IT Cluster Participant Status at Skolkovo Innovation Center

RELEX, Ltd., one of the leading Russian software vendors, has won the IT cluster participant status at Skolkovo Innovation center with the project “Multifunctional High-Reliability Real-Time Relational DBMS for Embedded and Mobile Solutions”.

Based on the substantive examination results, the Expert Committee conducted a meeting to discuss the company’s proposal, and the experts unanimously voted the project competitive on the world market and having significant commercial potential. The experts considered the project as highly innovative and noted that the key researchers, developers and specialists of RELEX have the necessary expertise to successfully implement the project on the international scale.

As a result of the project “Multifunctional High-Reliability Real-Time Relational DBMS for Embedded and Mobile Solutions”, a new-generation DBMS will be created, comprising the long-term experience of RELEX developers and the highest world technical achievements in processing and use of data in various cutting-edge computer system architectures.

The participation in Skolkovo Innovation Center will give RELEX considerable advantages, such as innovation project grants, tax and customs privileges, and access to Skolkovo infrastructure. It is assumed that the companies that passed the strict selection by experts and became the innovation center participants are strategically important to the state, reflecting the highest accomplishments of the technological progress, and having the potential for solving major scientific, social and economic issues.
