On July 2, 2014, RELEX Group, one of the most successful Russian software development companies, celebrated its anniversary.
The history of the company goes back to 1990 when a small group of young people interested in programming founded a firm, “Relational Expert Systems”. At that time, the ambitious friends could not imagine the success awaiting their company in just a few years. Over the 24 years of its history, the company has made a great contribution to the development of IT, and not only in Russia. Traditionally, at the annual meeting Igor A. Boychenko, General Manager of RELEX, summed up the results of the company’s activities over the past year. Among the key events:
• Obtaining new patents for inventions in the area of data storage and processing. In particular, RELEX received a patent for the data refreshment technology in the DBMS enhancing the precision and quality of comparing, updating, managing and exchanging different types of data;
• Victory in the open contest (held by the Voronezh Regional Department of Economic Development) for developing the project of a data bank system containing information on patents for inventions, useful models, innovative projects and small-size innovative companies;
• Victory in the open auction held by Morinsys – Agat Concern for delivery of DBMS Linter BASTION to be used in projects of the Russian Ministry of Defense;
• Signing a research and technical cooperation agreement with the ROSA company to develop comprehensive secure information and telecommunication systems;
• DBMS Linter sales growth of 25% in 2013-2014.
