RELEX and InSAT signed a partnership agreement

RELEX and InSAT signed a cooperation agreement RELEX Group, the developer of the Russian DBMS Linter signed a cooperation agreement with the research-and-production company InSAT, industrial automation end-to-end solution vendor. The companies are planning to integrate a new version of the MasterSCADA with Linter.

The cooperation between RELEX and InSAT is based on the mutual interests in the field of workflow automation. The goal of the joint work is to introduce a reliable solution fully based on domestic technologies on the Russian industrial control market.

According to the experts of the two partner companies, using Linter as a database server will allow the MasterSCADA package to satisfy the high requirements to real-time workflow automation packages. Besides, when selecting the DBMS, the InSAT experts considered such qualities of Linter as easy embeddability, fault tolerance and high level of data security.

One of the tasks to be performed by Linter in the new version of MasterSCADA is the dedicated archive server module support. This module enables creating systems with high requirements to the size, reliability and performance of technological parameter archives used in client applications. The archive server can be used as middleware to any modern database, providing compatibility with other DBMSs.
