DBMS Linter is extending the list of supported modern mobile OSs. Now the users of the Russian DBMS can work on the Maemo platform.
Maemo is a freely distributed Debian Linux platform for portable devices based on Gnome components and gtk graphic library. This OS is actively used in Internet pads Nokia 770, Nokia N800 and N810, and Nokia N900 communicator. Ubuntu Mobile is based on Maemo, too.
Now that Linter has been adapted for yet another mobile platform, the users of portable devices can select an OS with a full-scale embedded DBMS, while developers of software for telephones and pocket computers can create programs and applications for a freely distributed operating system on an embedded Russian SQL server.
