Rikor and RELEX Plan to Deliver Multipurpose Hardware-Software Complexes to Russian Customers
The companies have signed a technological partnership agreement.
Moscow, November 2. Rikor
, Russian server development company, and RELEX Group, a software vendor and system integrator, announce that they have signed a technological partnership agreement. As part of the partnership program, the companies started testing and adapting DBMS Linter
for working on the Russian hardware platform Rikor EcoServer.
The goal of Rikor and RELEX is to create a line of multipurpose hardware-software systems fully based on domestic technological solutions. The import-substituting packages offered to customers will have advantages over their foreign counterparts both in the hardware and software components.
The advantages of the Rikor servers are their affordable prime cost, low energy consumption and compactness, which will allow the customers to reduce the capital and operational expenses. Besides, the EcoServer configuration is flexible and customizable to the clients’ needs and infrastructure.
DBMS Linter is the flagship product of the Russian company RELEX. Over the 25 years, Linter was successfully implemented in many information systems, including government projects. The system is certified by the Russian FSTEC and Ministry of Defense. Since the DBMS is fully developed in Russia, it makes an affordable and competitive alternative to imported software products. The high level of security in DBMS Linter makes sure that the data processed and stored in the system will always be safe.
«According to the industry-specific plan by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the implementation of import substitution programs is currently the top priority in the Russian IT sector, – says Boris Ivanov, the Vice President of Rikor. –The use of RELEX software on EcoServer will allow us to create domestic multipurpose complexes that will help the customers to reduce their expenses and optimize the business processes».
«The current situation calls for the independence of the Russian IT industry from imported solutions, –says Vitaly Maximov, Marketing Director of RELEX. – The cooperation with Rikor will allow us to offer our customers hardware and software systems independent from overseas suppliers. This will help Russian companies to minimize their risks and automate their business irrespective of the Western sanction policy».
